Christmas Baking: Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Christmas baking has started once again. I am starting slightly early this year because I’ll be making a trip down to Daejeon this Friday to visit my loves at April. I never come empty-handed so Christmas cookies just made the most sense. I bought cute packaging in Namdaemun last weekend and I’ll be packaging cookies in individual boxes for people. My first cookie is my latest favorite… OATMEAL RAISIN! I used the recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction because it highlighted the word “chewy” in the title. I’m all for soft & chewy cookies! Another popular recipe is the one on the back of the Quaker Oats oatmeal tub. I will definitely try that one sometime in the future. Other cookies on my list include: milk chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, gingersnaps, and Lofthouse-style sugar cookies. I’m also trying to make something frosted and topped with crushed candy canes but we’ll see how that goes. Off to continue baking… in the meantime, here are my winter nails:
