Model Apartment
Ever so often I fantasize about moving into a new apartment. One that has better lighting, more space (or rooms), a view from my kitchen window that isn’t a brick building.
When I was in college I moved around a lot, finally settling in a one-bedroom in a neighborhood that was being taken over by artists and small business owners. It had horrible lighting and there were cracks in the wall that forced me to cover them with clear duct tape. But I made it home.
Now that I’m trying to expand my blog and make it into something really special, I’m obsessed with moving. I can’t shoot videos here because the light is so poor. The place is somewhat old and outdated looking. I have a shit load of furniture, so it’s not exactly roomy. I spend a lot of free-time looking photos of other apartments.
Some days I cruise Craiglist and show my boyfriend all the housing possibilities. Other days I look at celebrities homes, because let’s face it, they have more cash to burn and people to help them style it. One celeb-model, technically- who has a home I adore is Erin Wasson. From her chachkis to dark hardwood floors, I can’t stop imagining the possibilities if I owned a space like this.
