What would Kate buy at J. Crew?

Last week, we received a fabulous e-mail from WWKD reader Lindsay A. – what would Kate buy if she was shopping at the mall? What would she pick up at LOFT or Banana Republic? It is a question we have asked many times, what would Kate buy? Would she wear this?

Well, first of all – Kate has worn J. Crew before! During their visit to NYC in 2014, Kate wore black skinny pants by J. Crew. J. Crew has awesome skinny jeans, and their toothpick style is much beloved by fashion bloggers. A pair of black skinny jeans is a great asset to any wardrobe.

J. Crew is also a haven for basics – cardigans, jumpers, button down shirts, and breton striped tees make an appearance almost every season. Kate loves these style pieces and wears them often on her days off or running after George at the parks. You can’t go wrong with a Tippi sweater!
I love J. Crew’s country-chic styles! They have notably done a private capsule collection with Barbour, but also have featured their own utility and country jackets in the past. They also sell cozy Fair Isle sweaters, flannel check print shirts, and shearling-lined boots. On chilly days in Norfolk, Kate would definitely go for these styles!
J. Crew also has amazing maternity and children’s pieces (from their Crew Cuts line) that would be PERFECT when thinking about her little prince and princess (and any future babies…). We could definitely see George and Charlotte running around the Farm Park in some cute Crew Cuts pieces.
The beloved American brand is a great place for repliKates and that royal style – classic, clean-cut, cozy, and chic. Here are some more pieces Kate would DEFINITELY buy from J. Crew!
