Postcard from London (Whimsical Agnesiga)

“Thank you for traveling with Jubilee line.” As if the lines of the London tube are competing with each other. I wonder who came up with all the colours for each of them. If anything, I love that mine is grey. And called Jubilee. Celebration every day, all year long.

When I go home, it’s to this special airbnb flat upstairs. Most of the time it feels like Jerusha Abbott from ‘Daddy-Long-Legs‘, studying day and night and renting one bedroom apartment to go back to every evening after a long and busy day. It isn’t that far from truth as I’m deep into my Diploma work and only manage to take little breaks every now and then to do what Benji has sent me for: meet a few peculiar personas for upcoming Benji Knewman Vol.2. (meanwhile Vol.1 is on sale here!).

So, this is what happened.

“Thank you for traveling with Jubilee line.” It kā Londonas metrolīnijas būtu zīmoli, kas savā starpā sacenšas. Diez kurš izdomāja, kādā krāsā būt katrai līnijai uz kartes. Jebkurā gadījumā, ar savu pelēko esmu ļoti mierā. Jubilee line. Kā Jubilejas torte. Katru dienu svētki.

Kad saku, ka eju mājās, tas ir uz šo gaišo augšstāva dzīvoklīti. Pārsvarā jūtos kā Džeruša Abote no “Garkājtētiņa”, mācoties dienām un naktīm un īrējot mazu divistabu aliņu, kurā atgriezties pēc garas dienas. Un nav jau arī tālu no taisnības, jo līdz ausīm esmu maģistra darbā (gluži kā daudzi no jums, kas šo lasa), un tikai laiku pa laikam izzogos ārā, lai paveiktu to, pēc kā Benji mani sūtījis: sastapt pāris spilgtu personu, kuru stāstus dzirdēsit Benji Knewman Vol.2 (tikmēr izmantojiet iespēju iegādāties Vol.1 ar lielisku atlaidi!).
