Bare Ankles

Bare ankles… I could write an ode to them, style-wise. There is something weirdly appealing about such flesh flashing that looks surprisingly fragile, undoubtedly chic and modestly sexy. Even though I experiment with different pants lengths from time to time, they’re all temporary; the only two permanent chapters in my personal style book are either a floor-length bottom or an ankle exposing one, no matter what the season is.

By the way, you might notice that showing some ankle has been a thing lately, actually quite a big trend. Especially in winter, hah… Anticipating your possible disapproval, must confess I’m not a hero and wouldn’t even think of braving the whole day of cold with bare legs, even if it’s just ankles, sacrificing my health for style. However, I opt for it sometimes, even if it’s cold outside, when not planning to be out for too long. For me, besides defining my personal style and being my all-time favorite uniform, it’s some kind of rebellion against cold in general, because I’m almost always cold, sometimes even on a hot day.

Luckily, I don't have to worry about being bare-legged that much anymore, because I’m happy to announce that I saw several little trees that already started to bloom today, even magnolias. Finally!!! That’s means, today’s outfit is the last one that resembles winter or early cold spring season and I am now able to keep my ankles bare as long as I want to. It’s a wrap! Bye, cold! Hooray!!!
