A Bike Ride in Scotland
The last little bit of our trip to Scotland! I love a good bike ride, and you can borrow them for free when you’re staying at Gleneagles. Miguel and I made the most of a sunny afternoon and hopped on a bike to have a quick ride around the property.
It seemed like a great idea at the time, but the weather was…fresh. We cycled as far as seemed sensible (realising we were coasting downhill and would have to make it back again) before turning around. We stopped by the loch as the sun started dropping behind the the horizon, but my bright red knuckles and nose made it clear it was time to get back and next to the fire. I took a bit of thawing out, but it was worth it!
And before I go – a little about my new favourite jumper. I’d spotted this Doen jumper on their site before it had come into stock, and knew it had to be mine. The colour, THE SLEEVES. But when it did, I hesitated – the shipping cost was just too much. A few days later and it was back in my basket…I clicked through once again, but still couldn’t follow through with the purchase. The week after I decided that if I was thinking about a jumper this much, it was probably worth biting the bullet and checking out. I did. And I’m in love.
See you again, Scotland! x
