At The Florist

Comfy? I’m back outside the Liberty Florists again! I knew I’d have outfit shots here before long, Lucy and I were wandering past…the light was going and we were inspired to take a few snaps. My outfit looks super comfortable, right? You’d think so, it’s the cosy jumper that gives that impression (and cosy it is!), but it was the bottom half that let me down. I found these Opening Ceremony shoes on eBay for a bargainous price after admiring Sandra’s styling of them over the past year or so. And it seems I subliminally dressed with her as my inspiration too! What Sandra hadn’t mentioned is how uncomfortable they are! It’s a sad thing to find out a pair of shoes you’ve been lusting after are practically unwearable…after walking to the end of Oxford Street, my saviour Lucy offered to swap shoes. This gave my outfit an altogether different look, as I found myself in platform Converse-style trainers that were a size too big! For the millionth time, I learnt my lesson; don’t wear heels! It’s never worth it! Next time I put these laced-up beauties on my feet, I’ll make sure it’s for sitting down and not wandering the streets of London. But then I also said I’d never drink again after it made me sick the first time around…oops. Any tips for training your feet in to wearing heels, ladies?! x Beret - Vintage | Jumper - Urban Outfitters | Skirt - MinkPink Shoes - Opening Ceremony via eBay | Bag - Mulberry
