Winter Brights

Blue

Here it is, the debut outfit post from my new road in North London! We were a little late in the month to catch the falling orange leaves (I was hoping they would match my nails, #BloggerProblems) but I was drawn outside by the bright sun and blue sky in what has become my winter uniform – a simple shirt, jumper and skirt combo. Usually this would be paired with a thick pair of black tights (I’m really appreciating Primark’s So Comfy tights at the mo..!) but I’m so fed up of wearing them every day that I thought I’d break that tradition for a blog post. Cue comment “you must have been freezing!”, well, I think it must be some sort of special skill thanks to years of non-trouser-wearing ’cause as long as I’m covered up on top, it’s all gravy.

When I titled this post Winter Brights, I wasn’t just talking about my white legs. I hardly ever wear bold colours, so this blue jumper from Baruckello (check them out, they have the cutest shirts!) came as a bit of a revelation. I think it looks brill with a bright orange nail and lipstick – even if I do say so myself. This outfit also features another of my faves – a little Vivienne Westwood teddy bear bracelet from Monnier Freres, isn’t he the cutest?

I’m going to try my best not to be wearing a shirt/jumper/skirt combo in my next post, but I can’t make any promises…judging by the weather over the past couple of days, the addition of a scarf, hat and those Primark tights might be in order! x
