Home Tour: Exterior Front Yard (it begins!)

Well folks, it’s here– I can finally spill the beans on our new/old home and start leading you through the not-so-pretty before so we can get working on the very-pretty after.

So here’s the plan: I’m going to break it down based on space/room with a before home tour. Then in a follow-up post, I’ll share the plan for remodeling the space. A few of the smaller spaces will be print posts, but the great majority will be in video form. James, my video master/wonder/wizard, and I put our heads together to up our game in the production and content department. He really outdid himself with the editing and I hope you’ll love the virtual tour as much as we do.

I’ll also be sharing our progress (demo has already begun!) and tutorials for all of the many, many, many DIY’s involved with this home, along the way, also heavily in video format. Seeing step by step photos is very helpful, but I truly believe there isn’t anything quite like watching a video tutorial to teach you how to do something.

This first video also gives you some history on the house (which I’ll go more into tomorrow).
