A Champagne Occasion

It's a Monday - what better excuse for some champagne? Ok, ok: there's probably loads of better excuses but I'm not sure I need one!

Waitrose recently got in touch with me to offer me some champagne to celebrate something marvelous. Not gonna lie: at the time, I really didn't have much to celebrate. But, happily, by the time it had arrived at my door I had an awesome new social media job - hooray!

Waitrose gave away a complimentary bottle of champagne with every online order in January because January is a bit grim and they are a bit lovely. I'm happy to drink my champagne - how old fashioned of me! - but if you're looking for more inspiration, have a meander through their delicious champagne receipes - and invite me round if you're gonna make one, yeah?

WHAT I'M WEARING

I bought this wonderful coat in a charity shop for a fiver in the middle of the heatwave last summer. It was so hot outside that I could barely stand to touch it but I'm so glad I did. Remembering about it in the winter was like free coat shopping in my wardrobe. Oh my gosh, I love coats TOO MUCH.

I'm also wearing my lovely new pussybow blouse from Whistle & Wolf. When they contacted me, I just couldn't resist - the name match is a little too good, no? More outfit posts in their gorgeous pieces are on the way!
