One Skirt, Five Ways: Topshop edition

Navy blue wrap skirt | Topshop

I put a shout-out on Twitter to see if anyone had a particular skirt they wanted me to style up for this One Skirt, Five Ways post. I had some good answers but, um, I ignored them all as I fell in love with this navy blue Topshop silky wrap skirt. It's in my all-time second favourite colour and goshdamit, I just love it so much. Get in my wardrobe!

Boots | New Look
Backpack | Neil Barrett via Far Fetch
Baseball jersey from Serene Order

This one is a total shout-out to my homegirl Miley Cyrus who has single handedly made me crave a baseball jersey and basketball top and god knows what other sporting paraphernalia lately. Girl, I'm obsessed with everything you've been rocking, even if I hate it like I hated that damn crazy white fishnet and angel wing thing. Please burn that.

I have those awesome contrast sole boots and they've gotten a lot of wear the last couple of months. New Look make the most comfortable heels on the high street, I swear. And, yes: that backpack is CRAZY EXPENSIVE. But it looks so good in this outfit! Let's pretend - just for a minute - that it's not six weeks rent.

Court shoes | Clarks
Jacket | Armani Jeans
Camisole | Clothing at Tesco
Bag | Dorothy Perkins (25% off with code DPFW25!)

Ok, someone who was filmed talking about holding their buttocks apart for a Fashtag video for Ministry of Waxing -

see the evidence here! - probably shouildn't be doing such graceful looks but isn't this pretty? So lovely and ladylike.

I spend most of my time on Spartoo looking at their range of Dr Marten boots but I do occassionally look at the heels and these ones from Clarks are really sweet. I'm also mega into the camisole from Tesco (!!) which is such a nice cut, comes in half a dozen colours and is super cheap. I want this forest green and the navy, please.

Top | Monki
Socks | Topshop
Loafers | Shellys
Shirt | Marks and Spencer
Satchel | Cambridge Satchel

Sorry, sorry: I just couldn't RESIST doing an outfit in my two favourite colours. Monki is turning into one of my favourite stores, especially as everything is so cute and so cheap. I love you, Monki!

I love this look and not just because of the colours. It's a bit naughty schoolgirl, I think, especially with that gorgeous satchel. I'd definitely go for navy blue if I was investing in a Cambridge Satchel - with my initials on, OBVIOUSLY.

Skirt | Topshop

Clutch | Bank
Blouse | Wallis
Flats | River Island
Bracelet | Anna Lou of London

I think this is a great work look and good for a lot of different body shapes. I went to have a look at the new Wallis collection last week and was seriously impressed by what I saw. They're doing a good line in smart but not stuck up workwear for 30-somethings and some GORGEOUS little black dresses. I've got my eye on a black tuxedo number!

I also definitely wanted to get one of these Anna Lou of London bracelets in here because I love mine - I have it in orange! - and I think they're timeless. It looks good with the River Island flats, no?

Skirt | Topshop

Beanie | Bank
Boots | Kickers
Backpack | My Bag
Sweatshirt | Whistles
Tights | Sparkle & Spin

The Whistles jumper is via John Lewis and is currently in the sale. Also, excitingly - John Lewis have their Christmas stuff online. I don't officially get excited about Christmas until after Fireworks Night (aka my favourite holiday) but I got a little squee of joy, I admit.

There's something playfully childish about this outfit, probably because of the big kid vibe of the Kickers, I think. Love myself some navy tights for winter - I need some new pairs!

If you've seen a skirt you love that you don't know how to wear, tweet me a link @wolfwhistle and I'll get to styling! Let me know the look you hate the most in the comments - let's shake it up!
