Loco for Coco

{For Love & Lemons bandeau top and skirt, Stella McCartney platforms (old)}

{Love me some Coconut Cartel cocos}

If this Hawaiian-inspired look doesn’t make you want to beeline it to the nearest tropical destination and order up a rum-infused fruity libation…YOU’RE CRAZY. I’m head over heels with this For Love & Lemons bandeau top and maxi skirt — because it has “mai tai” written all over it. AND THAT’S A GOOD THING, OBVIOUSLY.

Another good thing? Coconut Cartel’s fresh coconuts pictured here in my palms (no, this is not a plug — I guzzle these real-deal coconuts on the regular whenever I’m at The Standard). They quench my thirst like no other and the packaging (Shallow-quality-in-a-person alert: I LOVE GOOD PACKAGING. I’m a sucker for it. Sue me.) is on the money, honey.

Anyhoo…sorry I’ve been a little MIA here on the blog, kids. My real children had Spring Break and followed by a subsequent Easter break which left me with:

1) Negative 25 minutes for myself. Fo realz.

2) Scrambling from the movies, to the beach, to play dates to the supermarket to the park and back to the supermarket with said children (Christ! How many times can a human go to damn grocery store!?)

3) No other choice but to swig double the amount of socially acceptable sauvignon blanc.

But I’m back from a relaxing family trip to Pinehurst, North Carolina and this mama is all Zen and shit and ready to tackle the world. Or at least the four jam-packed suitcases currently sitting in the hallway. Baby steps, people. baby steps.
