Denim is never really out of style, but some seasons it is more present then others and this spring and summer is definitely all about the classic blue work wear fabric. The shapes (trousers that is) are a bit looser than in previous seasons, and there are strong influences of 70s style as well as a western feel thanks to Pradas comboy-stitches that can be found in every other fashion spread these days. I prefer a simple look, so I will probably pair a blue shirt with denim jeans, white kicks and denim jacket. Don’t be afraid to wear your denim highwaisted, like Bo Develius in the spread above, and for a hint of western simply fold a handkerchief and tie it around your neck. Et voila. .
