“Universal” doesn’t mean Romania too

Apparently, the term “Universal” is a bit of a confusing one for the Universal Hollywood studios, because it doesn’t include Romania in it. Might have the whole universe in it, but not Romania or it’s press.

Universal Studios didn’t think it was necessary to include Romania and it’s press, while promoting a movie they made based on the romanian Vlad Tepes aka Dracula. If it wasn’t for the sharp eye of the girls of his official romanian fanpage (Immortals – Luke Evans Ro Fans) we’d all be completely in the dark about this. Now, as a proud transilvanian born – Luke fan, it’s just a little bit upset about this whole shenanigans. Let me explain why.

Isn’t it simply amazing to know that a movie about one of your country’s biggest historical figures has a promotional event that is completely hidden, that takes place at our very own Bran castle – of all places, and they will notify NONE of the Romanian press or collaborators to attend. A bit of a slap in the face and boot in the ass. Aren’t we the ones you should tell you’re visiting OUR country?

Nobody knows anything, no details of any kind, except for some personal postings of the actor himself, also invited here with no one knowing.

They will hide this promo event from the very country of the man they based their whole movie on, that generates some big sales that go to someone else’s pockets …and they don’t let us know anything at all.
That’s really classy, Universal!
