The Crafter's Workshop (Wildflowers) I am popping in with a quick post about a
stenciled card that I made a while ago. This stencil came as part of the prizes from last year's World Card-making Contest. I finally got it out and had a "test run".
The sentiment is from
Happy Mail (CAS-ual Fridays). I masked the borders and moved the stencil around while I created this garden scene. The butterflies are from the
Tim Holtz Rub-Ons. I don't have any fancy Tim Holtz Mini Ink Applicator...you can do without it (so I told myself). All you need is only a
tiny part of a sponge and just dab the Distress Inks to your heart's content. Easy, breezy...and beautiful.
I have been taking this class
Fresh Techniques for Artful Layouts and find it helpful to stretch my creativity. If you are new and interested in
Mixed Media, I would recommend
Fun with Mixed Media ( it's all about Gesso, watercolor techniques, masking fluid and creating resist).
There are many Craftsy classes on sale right now; you can check it out just by clicking on the banner.
And guess what!? You can enter to win a
FREE class (courtesy of...me,Virginia!) over Virgina's View Challenge--->
here Good luck and thanks for stopping by!
