It has been a while since I did my monthly faves and that’s something new in my blog. If you know me, that’s new because I rarely miss a month (with the exception of January). I have been pretty consistent with letting you guys know of what I have been loving so I thought why not at least share one of them before this month ends.

Product Description/Claims according to Burt’s Bees
Beauty sleep takes on a deeper meaning with our rich, natural night cream. Infused with Clary Sage, our best nighttime wrinkle cream is clinically proven to provide intense hydration and helps increase skin’s ability to retain moisture. Our nightly anti-aging moisturizer also helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. So you can wake up to skin that feels soft, supple and smooth.

• Intensely hydrates dry skin
• Helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles
• Absorbs quickly with non-greasy formula
• Enhanced with Probiotic Technology
• Dermatologist Tested and Noncomedogenic

This moisturizer has a simple, direct to the point packaging. It is housed in a glass-jar with a sticker acting as a seal for protection. If you’re for extra hygiene, you might want to use a spatula for scooping out the product but I’m practical and I’m the only one who uses this product. Also, I make sure that my hands are clean when I use this so I guess that’s good enough for me.

You pretties know that I’ve always been on the hunt for a good moisturizer that’s why when I got this last Christmas, I was so ecstatic, I had to take a photo of it right away so I could try it immediately. I must admit that though I’m a fan of lightweight moisturizers, at night time, I prefer really HEAVY and THICK ones. I have this feeling that having that the heavier & thicker the consistency is, the more moisturizing they are. And as you can see, right off the tub, it looks like a whipped cream. I can flip this over and it will take time before the cream drips on to the floor.

Because it is an intensive moisturizer, the texture feels a bit thicker than most of my moisturizer. It is really meant as a night cream. I don’t use serums anymore but if I do, I will apply my serum, eye cream, practically everything first then use this as the final step. A little of this goes a long way as well.

What I do like about this moisturizer is that even though it has a heavier consistency, it absorbs quickly and it’s not greasy. It stays true to it’s claim. Therefore when I’m not going anywhere and my skin is feeling extra dry, I use this one as my day cream as well. Sure it feel extra tacky for a bit longer than usual but it’s definitely worth it for the benefits that I’m getting.
