Artist to Watch: Tobias Jesso Jr.

Move over Justin Bieber, Canada’s newest heartthrob is Tobias Jesso Jr.

With a sound similar to Bob Dylan and John Lennon and lyrics so heartfelt and pure, Tobias is breaking hearts everywhere. And this “heartbreak” I’m talking about is something you definitely want to experience.

I realize it’s weird to say that, but Tobias on the piano is swoon-worthy. He reminds us how beautiful a man playing those black and white keys can be and we appreciate him for letting us appreciate and admire that simplistic, yet underrated beauty.

Tobias’ debut album Goon was released March 17th. If you are currently living in the LA area, I seriously recommend you check him out at one of my personal favorite venues, Bootleg Theater, on April 5th. And for now, you can listen to his recent track release, “Without You” which features Ms. Danielle Haim on the drums.
