and i'll sleep, just put the pillows under my head

I'm behind a few days on this post because this little man actually turned 1 month on Thursday.
Nonetheless, here he is! Little Ephraim River in all his one month glory.

A few things...
he likes his hands
he gives his mama little glimpses of that sweet smile
he isn't to fond of tummy time
he is a HATER of his car seat

Hopefully that last one he will outgrow within the next couple weeks. He can sure make a 2 minute drive feel like an eternity.

With one month has come his first cold. There isn't much more gut-wrenching to this mama's heart right now than seeing him gag
and choke at night after he nurses. It is the worst. It hasn't really bothered him to the point of tears like it has me, so that's good. I am
just praying all his congestion clears up asap. With two big sisters who are in his face 24/7, and also battling some congestion, I knew
it was bound to happen at some point. What can you do for them at 1 month old though, other than just pray it doesn't turn into
something worse? Ugh.

For now, he is content to sleep it off...mostly on me.
I am tired.
