A few days in Washington

Sorry for not posting for quite a while, my days have been so busy and finding reliable internet has been annoying. But a few weeks ago now my family and I were in Washington for a few days and we had such a great time visiting all the important and touristy buildings like the Capitol building, the Monument building, the Lincoln memorial and of course the White House. I wanted to get a hi five from Obama but I don't think he was home at the time I was waving at the house.
We also spent lots of time at the various museums that make up the Smithsonian. I actually really love walking around museums and looking at everything, I'm just not one for reading every single plaque like my dad. We had a great time at the Air and Space Museum, Botanical Conservatory and the Natural History Museum where I got to walk through the butterfly enclosure which was so beautiful!
