These past couple of weeks, nay months, have been rough. Just as we’ve begun to process one tragedy, another strikes, and we’ve been dealing with feelings of depression, anxiety and helplessness as a result. We know we’re not alone in this, as every conversation lately seems to revolve around how bad things are in the world, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take simple steps to make ourselves (and in turn, others) feel a bit better. Here, six simple tactics for remaining positive when circumstances seem to be conspiring against inner peace and happiness.
