Anua's K-Beauty Double Cleansing Routine for Glowing Skin

Anua is a K-Beauty brand that has a wonderful double cleansing system that features the Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil and the ANUA Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam. They can be used individually or together for a deeper and more effective cleansing, and the 2-step system helps to remove sebaceous filaments, blackheads, whiteheads and pimples. While this is an excellent system for skin prone to breakouts, it is gentle enough of all types of skin. I find it effective and non-stripping for my normal/combination skin. I am not prone to breakouts, but I do like to remove the sebaceous filaments the do form on my nose.

Double Cleansing Instructions:

Step 1. Apply cleansing oil on a dry nose. With a non-comedogenic formula that is safe to use for acne-prone and sensitive skin, ANUA’s Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil gently removes impurities from the skin. 

Step 2. Use circular motions to cleanse your pores. Made with heartleaf extract, this cleansing oil gently removes blackheads, makeup and sebum without any pore clogging. It provides a refreshing finish through an emulsification process that dissolves sebum by mixing water and oil.

Step 3. Emulsify with water. In a circular motion, blend the water with the cleansing oil until it becomes one.

Step 4. Follow up with a water-based cleanser.

Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil is a gentle cleansing oil that emulsifies when water is introduced. Simply apply the oil to dry skin and massage it for a couple of minutes and then add warm water to emulsify the oil. Then rinse the skin with warm water and use the ANUA Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam for your second cleansing.

The milk_shake icy blond shampoo and milk_shake icy blond conditioner are both formulated for blond hair and platinum blond hair to neutralize and counteract unwanted yellow or brassy tones that often occur with blond hair, but it is not recommended for gray or white hair. Lightening techniques, external aggressors such as the sun, or harsh cleansers can bring out unwanted warm tones in blond hair. The special black pigment contained within the new milk_shake icy blond range is formulated to counteract these effects.

The special black pigment contained within the new milk_shake icy blond range, gives delicate ash tones to very light blond hair or platinum blond hair. Prolongs the effects of grey or silver tones. Blue Lagoon Iceland Skincare Silica Mud Mask is an effective, and easy to use, mask that is formulated to deep cleanse and draw out excessive sebum, pimples, whiteheads and blackheads. Skin looks and feels as though one took a trip to an esthetician for a professional facial after use. While I don't often have breakouts, I do like to unclog my pores through masking, and this one leaves my skin looking and feeling amazing. My skin is left clean, pores cleared and this is done efficiently without stripping or drying out my balanced/combination skin.

Their fragrances are a treat to the senses, and a joy to wear. I love MAYA No 1 Perfume Oil (Reviewed HERE), and now I will extol the virtues of MAYA Base Perfume Oil for you.

Alone, on me, it sits very close to the skin and is best described as an indescribably alluring scent that is captivating and fetching. It is intimate and ethereal, almost like a soft incandescent flash. I liken it to a secret that you don't share, but that you keep to yourself. I find this fragrance quite special, but it mixes quite well with MAYA No 1 Perfume Oil when I want to intensify the scent.

This scent expanded and rounded by the stunning amalgam of Amber, White Musk and Vanilla Orchid base notes. On me, this fragrance sits close to the skin and is a complex warm and creamy musky vanilla that is airy and delectable. It is perfect all year long, and such a treat to the senses.
