it's on with allegra was created in November 2009, when I decided to stop just reading other people's blogs and felt like ready to have my very own fashion diary. So I became an active blogger. I'm no expert, not yet a journalist - I'm an 19-year-old media studies student, who writes about her daily inspirations and fashion seen from her point of view and taste. On the whole, I wanna share via IOWA my passion for fashion with all of you. Not only because fashion plays a big part in everyday life, but also 'cause I think it isn't just a superficial and dull hobby - fashion is self-expression, an entire language! I've already contributed to or was featured in (online) magazines (e.g. the Style Sample Magazine, Jolie, GLAMOUR, StyledOn, Frock&Roll, Factory Fox Blog and FASHIOLISTA) and became WhoWhatWear MySpace Muse of August 2009 and TeenVogue's best dressed reader of the day, february 02 2010. Thanks to all the lovely readers and followers IOWA got some gorgeous blogger awards too. Something you should know as well about IOWA is, that it's an independent blog and there's full journalistic freedom.
