I started this blog in 2010 with the intention of becoming the next big food blogger. (ha, JK!) I absolutely adore all of the super famous food blogs out there [Eat, Live, Run, How Sweet It Is, For the Love of Cooking, Closet Cooking - just to name a few] and read them religiously before I decided to start my own blog. I began to write this blog with strict rules and boundaries (Recipe - ingredients, directions, picture, done.), but what is the fun in that? As much as I love cooking and entertaining, it isn't 100% who I am. I will post recipes when I have enough time to take (not-so-good-quality-point-and-shoot) photos of the food I cook, but I am not going to stress myself out to make my own personal deadlines. I find that I have had much more fun lately, and felt more creative, when I didn't restrict myself to certain topics. So, I hope you enjoy my ramblin' mess of a blog! :)
