This blog was conceived as a creative outlet in this new stage of my academic career, the dreaded "d" (d is for dissertation) word. To misquote dear Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, let's just say that, "Russian literature is my lawful husband and culinary experimentation my lover; when I get tired of one, I spend the night with the other." This blog, however, will trace my exploits with both. :)
