{the look} slouchy stripes

New York City reached 50 degrees last weekend, and it was as if spring was finally on its way. As I post these pictures from a glorious bare-legged Sunday afternoon a mere five days later, it’s an almost unbearble 10 degrees outside. Teeter totter weather calls for great transitional pieces like this dress. The long sleeves make it just the right piece when there’s still a bit of chill in the air, while the short hemline and breathable, cotton fabric mean I’ll be wearing it well into spring. Plus, the classic stripe pattern is a seasonless staple. Tie a jacket or shirt around your waist, and it’s a slouchy-cool look that’s weekend ready.
