Wet n Wild The Style Award Goes To Color Icon Eye Shadow Collection

New this spring for a limited time is the Wet n Wild The Style Award Goes To Color Icon Eye Shadow Collection.

This collection features two Color Icon Eye Shadow 8-Pan Palettes as well as six new Mega Last Nail Colors, which I will swatch for you soon.

Flirting at the After Party features mostly cool-toned purple shades and Walking the Red Carpet features mostly brown warm-toned shades. Both palettes come with the (useless) sponge-tip/brush dual-applicator, which I promptly toss in the garbage!

Flirting at the After Party

Flirting at the After Party left side: Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer (over primer)

Browbone is a pale shimmery lavender.

Eyelid is a greyed out violet with slight shimmer.

Crease is a light lavender matte.

Definer is a very shimmery deep grape.

Flirting at the After Party right side: Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer (over primer)

Browbone is a pale pink/lilac iridescent.

Eyelid is a medium pinkish purple matte.

Crease is a medium purple shimmer.

Definer is a dark slightly shimmery purple.

Walking the Red Carpet

Walking the Red Carpet left side: Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer (over primer)

Browbone is a pale beige matte.

Eyelid is a light beige metallic.

Crease is a light taupe shimmer.

Definer is a dark chocolate brown with slight shimmer.

Walking the Red Carpet Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, Definer (over primer)

Browbone is a light white shimmer.

Crease is a super glittery gold metallic.

Crease is a warm gold shimmery metallic.

Definer is a deep warm brown with gold glitter.

Overall: I like both but turns out I like Flirting at the After Party more than Walking the Red Carpet, and I thought that would be reversed. The shades in Flirting at the After Party are soft, nicely pigmented, smooth and even over a primer. I really love the kind of greyed out purple shades on the left side especially. Walking the Red Carpet also has soft and smooth shades but the left side of has mostly lighter colors, which I don’t love. The right side though has some amazing colors, especially the Eyelid and Crease shades.

Availability: Now for a limited time at drugstores.

Pricing: $4.99 each.

Will you be picking either of these up if you see them?
