roundup: jewelry close ups

Releasing a new collection is always so exciting for me! Since I design and make all of the original jewelry waxes by hand, it really feels like I’m sharing my art with all of you and it’s always so fun to see what pieces people respond to. Since I have a personal connection with each one of these pieces, I thought I’d do a little photo tour to introduce you to each of the pieces from the new RAWR Summer collection, up close and personal!

RAWR is inspired by the beast within…

Lagoon Earpiece

An edgy-glam take on a creature from the ocean deep. I’ve always been fascinated with mermaids and this earpiece is the closest I can get to feeling like a sea nymph. Styling Tip: This earpiece is reversible! Wear it with the fin down on your left ear or rotate it with the fin up on your right ear.

Alicorn Horn Neclace

An Alicorn is a winged unicorn. I’ve always loved these mythical animals and this pendant is inspired by their horns, set with crystals and on a vintage-y chain. Styling Tip: This extra long necklace is great for layering, you can also wear it tied up higher as a statment chest piece like how I styled it on model Lily in our lookbook for the collection.

Finx Cuff

It’s a cat, it’s a fox… it’s a Finx! This magical creature is basically my spirit animal and looks good in any gold color with crystal eyes! Styling Tip: A statement cuff, perfect for adding an edge to any outfit. Wear one on each arm for double the impact… Finx power!

Fang Chain Earrings

Delicately dangerous, these mixed-metal chain earrings feature swingy box chain with a tiny fang pendant. I also love how the bar and chain go through your ear for a balanced look – see Lily the model wearing them here! Styling Tip: Great solo, yet simple enough to wear in combination with a stack of ear cuffs.

Shorti Saber Necklace

Delicate yet edgy, just like you! This pendant with one jagged edge and one smooth is like a fierce yin yang. Looks amazing layered with the Midi Saber and Bigi Saber necklaces. Styling Tip: Wear solo as a dangerously delicate accent or pile it on with longer necklaces like the Midi Saber and Bigi Saber Necklaces! See me wearing them all in this Instagram pic.

Silver and black Beauty Marks! My hand drawn Mr. Kate BeautyMarks “The New Makeup” have been so a huge hit with you all in gold and now they’re available in silver and black!

Fang and Lapis Bracelet

One of the oldest stones to be used for jewelry, Lapis Lazuli is a stone of friendship and truth–a perfect pairing with the golden fang charm. The deep ultramarine blue with white and gold veins is phenomenal next to the gold charm.

Pixie Ring

Make no mistake, pixies are not fairies! This delicate ring may look tiny and cute but it sure packs a punch of ferociousness with the tiny pointed fang accent. Styling Tip: Wear these stacked high on your finger like how I styled them in the lookbook picture.

Saber Crown Ring

Delicate and smooth meets edgy and jagged, the Saber design is like a fierce yin yang. Styling Tip: Wear it with the Saber Ring for a full finger ring look!

Saber Earrings

Don’t worry, they won’t bite, but they will make any outfit look fabulous. I like wearing them in mixed colors.

Tiny Ear Cuff

I wanted to design the tiniest and most delicate (non-piercing-required) ear cuff so here it is! You can wear stacks of these all over your ear to get that edgy-glam look without the pain!

Vesper Ear Cuff

Take a bite! Named after Vesper Bats, this ear cuff looks like their tiny (but deadly!) fangs. Looks amazing paired with the Tiny ear cuff.

Web Ring

I love a statement ring and this one is lightweight yet packs a punch of gold. I designed it to have negative space and be reminicent of a spider web.

I hope you enjoyed this virtual tour of my newest jewelry collection. What’s your favorite piece? See more and SHOP all these pieces here! xo
