It is taking all my energy to stop myself from sleeping under the blanket of sun, that is currently watching longingly over England, for the whole of each day. Today is officially my first day of freedom, having attended my last ever lesson within an adult education environment on Friday.
Today I put my legs to use as I waded through sloping fields of long grass down to a tree encased stream amongst acres and acres of land that I can only hope could mimic something like our own one day. As a family we are looking to relocate and so we have just started the lengthy process of viewing property.
The minimal clothing as worn above best describes my summer attire. Wearing my newly thrifted 75p worth of an oversized smock dress, I tend to keep things simple in the extreme, only accessorizing with my vintage thrifted sunglasses and my recently purchased little leather sandals. I have slowly but surely become accustomed to my fairer (ginger-esk) hair and although I do get the occasional pang to be a dark brunette once more, I am enjoying this little something new. I imagine by winter I'll be back to my natural shade, as I tend to match my hair to each passing season.
