DEVIOUS HIGH-TOP TRAINERS | ASOS £8* (sale) HAWAII JELLY SHOES | NEW LOOK via Asos £9.99* FORTUNE LEATHER SANDALS (now out of stock) | ASOS £25*

* all purchased using a voucher I won in a competition, explained here.
Embellishing my feet with some new shoes. These are the 3 I narrowed it down to, amongst all the things I have ordered from Asos over the past month or so, with one pair arriving per parcel. Prior to this I had not a single set of sandals (apart from my birkenstock look-a-likes which hardly count) and only a one pair of lonely trainers sheltering in my wardrobe.
THE SHOES:

DEVIOUS HIGH-TOP TRAINERS | ASOS £8* (sale)

I first ordered these originally reduced from £28 to £14, but when they arrived I found them to come up a little on the small side (that or my feet have gained some weight of their own without warning me!), so I returned them for a refund with plans to find something else. Then later down the line when commencing with another order and having not satisfied my trainer-esk craving, I saw they had been further reduced to only £8. Convinced I could probably just get the next size up, I added them to my basket and funnily enough they fit! Thankful to my less than speedy initiative of just going up a size, I saved myself a few gold coins.
I am yet to step beyond the new shoe walk on our wooden floors, as with the weather being how it is, it is far too warm to wear anything more than a sandal at present.

FORTUNE LEATHER SANDALS | ASOS £25* (sold out!)

Top on my priority of shoes list, was to get around to locating a simple pair of leather sandals before summer comes and goes again. I should have feared not, as unbeknown to me these were only a mouse click away! Ever since I long lost my favourite and ONLY pair of sandals in Portugal many moons ago, I hadn't found anything that could even come close to replacing them.
The weaved leather, t-bar and buckle design are among the good qualities these sandals can call their own, not forgetting to mention how comfortable they are to wear too! Unlike the high-tops, I have already worn these sandals on several occasions, including in my latest outfit post.

HAWAII JELLY SHOES | NEW LOOK VIA ASOS £9.99*

By far my most nostalgia inducing purchase ever. Although born in the late 80's I was a 90's child through and though when jelly shoes were originally 'in'. I had always hoped that I'd be able to re-live those precious silver glittered shoe moments again with my ever so slightly larger adult feet. This year given the opportunity I found some great replicas.
Admittedly I was first of all steering towards the now well known JuJu Jellies, but heartbreakingly they sold out in my size so quick! Luckily New Look stepped in with what I would call a daintier (not to mention cheaper) version which I actually really do prefer! So much so I'm quite keen to purchase them in black too.
Oh and one last thought worth mentioning for those who are keen on comfort, the plastic is rather bendy so sits well with the sole of the foot therefore making these quite the dream to walk in.
