VINTAGE 'MOM' JEANS | THRIFTED - boot fair

HYPE ON LOOKBOOK HERE.
Wearing one of my new crop tops from my recent Asos purchases, I teamed it with my favourite brown leather sandals and another pair of grey vintage 'mom' style jeans (that were a mere £1 from a a previous visit to a local boot fair). Pulling my still ginger fringe back, I was ready to take on the day.
I could never have foretold the events that unravelled on the Bank Holiday that recently passed nearly two weeks ago now. Having enjoyed a stroll around a local and blissfully warm field, not quite bursting full from groups of people partaking in casual boot fair business, my family and I set about our relaxed interpretation of a public holiday outing. Purchasing odd and ends, as my brother kicked his teenage heels into the soft earth, we exited the selling fields once all had been visually consumed, collecting ice creams on our way. I struggle to eat things in public spaces and although it took me an agonising 15 minutes of pleasure and panic, I consumed something (in view of others) that I haven't been able to in years! Pleased with my efforts the day continued with luck no less than in that very moment.
Our next gathering spot saw us taking a walk along a really pleasant trail that we hadn't explored before. The child in me gazed up endlessly at every tree and collected miniature fallen pine cones as little mind-jogging souvenirs. The bank holiday continued to not only bring luck but a kitten too. Found hiding at my parents' stables later that afternoon, either lost or abandoned this black and white tuxedo baby was fortunate enough to come across my family just before dusk settled and we departed for home. That however is a kitten's story to be told on another day.
