There are days when I’m so busy travelling or working back home in my office that I don’t have time to document what I’m wearing – even taking a few minutes to take an Instagram of my outfit or details seems impossible some days.

This is one example of an outfit that never made it online which left me thinking ‘Well then, did it even really exist if nobody saw it online?’, especially in a day and age where social media has created an unquenchable thirst for information about what you’re doing, where you are and what you’re wearing.

Ironically, this was one of my favourite outfits in a very long time. It was a mixture of high and low and created using pieces that had been floating around my suitcase for months or pieces I had just found by sheer luck, all coming together in the end just in time to make it to a show in Paris. The layering of two tops provided much needed warmth and these Celine pants were the ultimate find (I couldn’t really believe they were brand new with the tags still attached) at a second hand consignment and vintage store in Soho recommended by my friend Phil called Tokio 7 – a place I highly recommend if you’re up for a rummage!

In unrelated news I have been nominated for an Elle Style Award, which is incredibly exciting as I still don’t know exactly why people find what I wear so interesting. If you know the reason or have a few seconds I would love if you could all cast your vote(s) here.

It’s definitely one of many things I’m excited to come home about in the next few days! See you soon, Australia… x
