Disney Princess Craft – where you are in the picture #disneyside

Julia was never a little girl who played princess. When she was three, my aunt gave her a bright red shirt with the word “princess” written across it in silver. Julia refused to wear the shirt and announced that she was not a princess.

Fast forward to this past summer. Because of generous parents and a few opportunities because of this crazy thing we call blogland, we’ve been able to go to Disneyland. When we got home this summer, Julia made me this present. It is now my favorite gift from her. In every picture, there is a mother, holding her daughter so sweetly and tenderly. If this is a glimpse of how Julia thinks I look at her, I am extremely blessed.

The picture of us is from my best friends wedding in Chicago. Julia was just three years old and Nate was only four months old. She was the flower girl for Jen’s wedding at the butterfly museum. She was so proud of herself for going on her very first plane ride and wanted a picture.

I can imagine ten million different ways for you to make your own version of this, but I’ll stick with this one!

Have a great day!

Kate
