extra long weekend of perfection.

BEACH, MARKETS, GREAT FOOD, BEER PONG, BON FIRES & SUNSHINE

It was a three-day weekend over here and George and I made it even longer as he was owed an annual leave day so took Friday off as well to make it four day weekend of utter Sydney perfection!

We had the loveliest spring/summer like weather which meant we spent most of our time outside. On Friday we drove down to Manly, got coffee and then walked around to Shelly, up to the headland and then back again to fill up on mini tacos at Mex & Co. It was the perfectttttt day date! What made it even more perfect was that we caught up on Made In Chelsea haha!

Then on Saturday, we got up early and took Russell for a walk before venturing down to Pyrmont to check out the Growers Market and Vic's Meat Market to stock up on supplies for an arvo BBQ with friends. Everyone came round from 4.30pm onwards and we played beer pong, sat around the bonfire and put some snags on the barbie. It was the best!

A couple of people stayed over and the next day we slept in, made some bacon and eggs before heading to Freshie which was rivalling Bondi over crowded-ness haha!

Monday beaching was much more relaxing as we drove up to our favourite - Whale beach. It's such a beautiful beach and it always perfectly populated with people; not deserted but not disgustingly busy. Heaven! Mum and dad were with us that day (they got back from camping with a big group of their friends on the Sunday night) and we enjoyed lunchtime burgers on the beach, planning NSW coast based adventures, chatting over big WTCT plans and strolls along the water.

Perfect weekend! To make it even more perfect (for George especially, seeing as he supports them), the Rabbitohs WON for the first time since 1971!!
