Carpe diem

At Southwold I will show some ceramic pieces that I've made. They are based on old signage and are a re-arrangeable poem of banal terms.

I like how sayings like 'c'est la vie' can just be tripped off the tongue and fit most circumstances - very handy really. A way of saying something without actually having to say anything. I love all that stuff. What what. And so on.

And I also made a spare 'carpe diem and all that' for my boy, to remind him to 'seize the day!'. Hopefully not in a spend all our savings on a motorbike type way though, we'll see.
