Épice Flamingo Flower Scarf

As a professional handbag collector I feel I have a great appreciation of the value that accessories can have when it comes to pulling an outfit together. Scarves have long been a prominent feature of my wardrobe as I feel they have the same effect when it comes to making an outfit look complete. So you can imagine my delight when Épice got in touch and asked me whether I’d like to style one of their gorgeous scarves; it took me all of half-a-second to reply to say YES!

Épice is a French Scarf company, based on beautiful Scandinavian design, and inspired by and made in India. It brings the best attributes from these three countries together to create beautiful fashion. The style and sophistication of the French, the clean-cut and contemporary designs of Denmark, and the intricate patterns and vibrant colours of India are combined to create a stunning and unique range of high-quality scarfs and stoles.

The scarf I chose was from their Flowers of Épice range and is a gorgeous coral pink colour with a flower motif. It arrived so beautifully packaged that I was almost reluctant to unwrap it, that hesitation didn't last long however and I was happily ripping open the tissue paper shortly after.

The scarf itself is made of merino wool; it’s substantial enough to help to keep you warm on cooler days, but not too weighty that wearing it during the summer months would cause an issue.

I styled it with one of my maternity dresses from Mamas & Papas, shoes from Next and jewellery from Phase Eight and Isabel Marant for H&M respectively.
