En el teatro griego de Siracusa

¡Hola! El teatro griego de Siracusa ha sido sin duda uno de los atractivos del viaje para mis hijos. Ya os contaré en un vídeo que estoy preparando algunas sugerencias para viajar con niños porque la verdad es que nos movemos bastante con ellos y, dado que muchas me preguntáis, creo que ha llegado la hora de compartir algunas ideas. ☺ ¡Estad atentas!
Hello! This old Greek theater was one of the best entertainments for my children during our trip to Sicily. I will tell you more about how to travel with kids in a video that I am getting ready. I travel a lot with them so I think it is time to share some ideas.

Viajar con niños es sin duda alguna una aventura y requiere altas dosis de paciencia, pero si te animas y vas preparado, lo disfrutas muchísimo. Además ellos siempre te sorprenden y va y les gusta lo que menos te esperas. Mi hijos estuvieron felices en este teatro porque en seguida se montaron la película de que era un teatro que ellos tenían que arreglar. Nosotros no dijimos ni sugerimos nada; ellos encontraron sus herramientas y se pusieron a trabajar. Y así pasamos una tarde la mar de entretenida: ellos arreglando y nosotros imaginándonos lo que habría sucedido en aquel lugar.
Traveling with your kids is a real adventure and you need high doses of patience. However, if you are prepared for it you will have a great time. Besides, they always surprise you and end up enjoying things that you would have never though of. Our kids had a lot of fun in this place. They made their own story and though they had to fix the teather, found some tools around and played building games for hours. We didn’t suggest anything; they were themselves that started the game.

Y cuando nos creíamos la mar de organizados y coordinados con los niños, vimos a esta familia que parecía mucho más apañada que nosotros. Nos entraba la risa a Nacho y a mí. El señor iba leyendo a la señora o al revés la historia del teatro. La iba relatando en alto y se les veía disfrutando a tope de la experiencia. Nuestros hijos seguían brincando a su alrededor totalmente alocados. Y ahí pensamos nosotros: “Estos nos ganan. Se vienen documentados y todo…☺”.
Está claro que siempre hay gente que parece que lo hace mejor, pero sinceramente, yo bastante contenta me veía de haber pasado esa tarde tan a gusto en un sitio tan espectacular por mucho que me perdiera la historia completa de lo que allí había sucedido. A veces hay que renunciar. No se puede todo, ¿verdad? Eso sí, esa familia me picó de tal manera que a partir de ese día comencé a leerme más a fondo la guía de Sicilia. #nohaymalqueporbiennovenga
At some point, when we though we were such organized parents, we came across this family that seemed to be doing it even better. The father was reading out loud the story of the theater while the mother listened carefully. Their kids were behaving great too. Ours kept jumping around. ☺ When these things happen you always think you could do it better, but the truth is that we are limited and that you have to give up some things.
Anyway, I was more than happy to have been able to spend an afternoon in such amazing place even though I didn’t know everything about its past. But the good thing too is that the next day I started to read my Sicily guide more in depth too. ☺
