LAST MINUTE GLANCE

At this very moment, I’m having a last minute glance on my case packing. After months of being resident in Beijing while undergoing my freshman year here at University of International Business and Economics, it’s right now the time for a comeback, to say, the semiannual homecoming moment. How would you describe five months in a year? Either too swift to catch a sight of or on the contrary a way too long overdue? I’d say both, for from a very personal perception, it all seems like yesterday when I was packing my ‘college life’ with unconscious over-anxiety about 20 weeks ago, yet meanwhile, alteration and surprises have dropped by inadvertently in a way that is far more beyond my expectation. However the linguistic cliché ‘Life is full of surprises.’ is judged by people, I personally consider that it is the exact image of my residence here. From a fashion week daydreamer who barely known anything about the tent to an attendee sitting among elite fashionistas, as well as achieving a more style-democratic spirit which had once been supposed to be done within at least two years, surprises were distinctly engraved in every choice I made and every step I moved.

And now, again, I’m suffocating my over-anxiety in front of the case, the screen, and in front of you. Maybe that’s a psyco signal which calls for another spectrum of surprises, or not. By far I still have no idea. The only thing assured is that nostalgia isn’t the case that bothers me, and I have to set off right now or else I’d probably miss my flight. Thus, wish me best of luck! See you around in Shenzhen soon. :)
