Lucy Jay Scarves

Absolutely loving this new line of scarves Lucy Jay! I personally can never have enough color in my wardrobe but for those of you who opt for a more muted palette this is a tasteful way to incorporate a pop of color without feeling uncomfortable. You have to branch out sometimes & not be afraid to experiment with new looks, never know what you’ll come up with(I’m preaching to myself on that one)! I love the simple all white 90′s theme used for the look book, lace tops, loose-fitting dresses/skirts and amazing platform shoes seen here all flow well without detracting attention from the striking scarves. Dividing her time between London & Wirral designer Lucy Jay graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Fashion Design last summer. Inspired by a mash-up of ideas, Jay’s debut collection of scarves are visibly alluring with colorful patterns that resemble something you would see if you glanced into a kaleidoscope! Each scarf is digitally printed and made of silk measuring 90cm x 90cm (about 35 in.). The multi-functional scarves Irene, Bryan, Lucy as seen in the look book pics are named after the designers close friends & family. The Patrick scarf was recently seen at Selfridges as a part of Supermarket Sarah’s final pop-up shop wall display Clash Mash! You can follow Lucy’s journey via her blog where she documents her life as a designer! If your interested in purchasing some of Lucy’s lovely scarves you can e-mail her directly at hello @ lucy-jay.com and don’t forget to visit her website to stay up to date on stockists and the launch of her webshop!
