WDH do you wear to a gig?!

Tuesday night I went to see Banks at KoKo in Camden and this is a text I received from my BFF on the day :
" I have actually decided that dressing 4 a gig is 1 of the hardest things 2 dress 4. Getting it rite between casual / fancy! "
Ignoring her terrible text spelling (yes, that is how she actually texts ((and I bloody hate it!!)), I gotta agree with her. You have to dress cool / casual, but still show your personal style, and all the while trying to look like you didn't try too hard! The weather was also being funky so that made things worse, it was warm enough to not wear a jacket, but you'd have to take a jacket with you because it'd get chilly in the evening (1st world problems!)!
So as a base I just went with my ripped skinny jeans, a slouchy white tee and my trustee Vagabond boots (can't go wrong with skinnys and a tee :), piled on some jewellery and then tried to make an outfit around that. In the end I went with the white RI jacket but I do like the outfit with the hat!
As for the show, it was bloody amazing, Banks is such a talented chick and I wish she stayed longer! Defo check her out. Here's my fav song of hers..
