men: how to layer for fall running

From shirts that manage your stink to shorts that let you move like a boss, we’ve got the functional gear you can sweat hard in (and still look good). You’d never try to build a deck with a screwdriver, and the same thinking goes with your gym kit. Our fabrics have specific functions:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

Silverescent (found in our Metal Vent Tech Long Sleeve, Metal Vent Tech Tank)
Silverescent® inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria on the shirt and can be worn on its own or as a base layer in cool weather.
Translation: your gear won’t stink.

Microfleece (found in our Panelled Warmth Pullover and Crew)
This fabric is brushed on the inside for warmth.
Translation: Cozy in on the inside, tough on the outside.

Glyde (found in our Surge Jacket)
Breathable and water-resistant.
Translation: Wear this running and you’ll be blowing off steam literally and figuratively.

Luxtreme (used in panels of the Panelled Warmth Pullover and Crew)
A sweat-wicking, four-way stretch fabric that’s cool to the touch and fits like a second skin.
Translation: Your pecs will be on centre stage. Own it.

Swift Ultra (found in our Pace Breaker Short)
Woven for strength and no-bulk performance, this four-way stretch fabric moves with you and stays out of your way.
Translation: Only lame excuses can get in your way.

When she isn’t championing our athletic style as lululemon’s Brand Stylist, she can be found wearing a lot of black, running, hitting the mat or consuming copious amounts of Vogue and Porter. She loves exploring whatever life hands over and captures most of these moments on Instagram.
