I’ve always wanted to throw a Halloween Party. It’s an excuse to act like a kid again, dress up & get creative. Halloween is so light-hearted & fun. It’s a brief escape from reality that stretches the imagination. As a child, I would spend months thinking about my costume & finding great jokes to tell when I went door to door. This dinner party is a glimpse into what I want to do in years to come. It’s a few simple touches that added to the ambience of our home for Halloween.
To create this table in just a few minutes, I made a 10 minute centerpiece that I later repurposed into a planter for our front porch. It’s the living AND the dead.
Then, I rinsed little snips of a dead tree branch to add to each place setting. Simply spooky, right?
Candlelight is a quick, easy & inexpensive way to add ambience & create a tablescape without consuming a lot of pricey flowers.
