Happy New Year

So it’s been a while since my last update. I haven’t really had much to blog about but I’m going to try and post more. I still can’t believe it is already 2014. Last year went by so crazy. The most memorable moments of 2013 for me were:

1. Seeing my best friend get married in April. Going down for her wedding and seeing her get married was one of the happiest moments of 2013. I know it will definitely be one of her happiest moments in her life and I’m glad I got to be a part of it. I loved being a bridesmaid!
2. Spending Thanksgiving with family. Granted, I spend every Thanksgiving with family but this year was extra special because I got to spend it with my mom’s side of the family who I miss dearly.
3. Marked the three year mark at my job. I started my current job in October of 2010 and have been there for over three years now.
4. Life. Can’t say I took life for granted this year. My mom was really sick and I’m glad that everything turned out okay. My dad’s prostate cancer returned but he is okay for now. I’m just really grateful for the moments I have and don’t get anything for granted when it comes to family.
