I can wear jeans to school on Fridays so long as I don spirit wear. And since wearing a t-shirt with jeans is my least favorite thing on earth, I am on a constant hunt for the school colors (maroon and gold) instead.

It should come as no surprise that I tend to push this one. I’ll find a scarf with the slightest fleck of the shade, wear it with whatever I want, and go to school chanting go team. But I know that I am stretching my inch to a mile so I look for maroon everywhere. And the one thing I’ve been on the absolute longest hunt for? A simple, plain, no-nonsense maroon sweatshirt. That’s it. That’s all. I’ve scoured the internet, tried every search engine known to man, and simply came up empty handed. And just when I was resolved to give up and commit myself to a lifetime of close calls and pushing it, I find this little puppy hanging on the sale rack at J.Crew. Bless them and the infinity amount of Fridays of me in this sweatshirt.
