The Best Brow

The importance of defining your brows is undeniable - whether you're following the trendy thick brow or looking for a way to even out your face. I'm somewhere in the middle. If you've ever felt naked leaving the house without your eyebrows done, you know how I think.

I've tried a lot of brow products, but my favorites by-and-far are by Anastasia Beverley Hills, available at your local Sephora.

Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Powder Duo

I swear by this handy little brow kit, end of story. It's the only thing I use anymore. I'm always in need of a quick fix, and I more-than-often wear the powder alone. The magic is in the color pairing, which allows you to match your current brow shade for seamless blending. You can also add natural highlights and lowlights to your brows...just another reason to be obsessed.

Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Gel

When I'm looking to amp my brow game, I use this before applying my powder. The hold is ah-mazing, perfect without clumping or feeling too stiff on the face. It also has a conditioner worked into the formula to keep brows healthy.

Three tips for how to achieve your best brow look:

1. With a brow powder, line the bottom of your brow and blend upwards. This is what creates the oh so dramatic eyebrow effect.

2. Comb brows upward and hold with a brow gel or (the cheaper alternative you already own) hairspray to create a fuller look.

3. When you're doing brow maintenance - whether trimming, shaving, or plucking, use a reference. More often than not, I'll use these brow stencils to outline a basic shape and then service around my guide.
