Every time I walk out of the house wearing all black, my mom asks, "Diane, why do you look so gangster?" It's the funniest thing. In my opinion, I think monochromatic looks are the most chic looks and the most fun to experiment with. The trick is to play around with patterns and textures to make your look more dimensional and appealing. I paired this loose flowy top with tight pleather pants to give the illusion of more slender legs, as well. And, of course, my infamous boots from H&M gave me the height that I lacked because wearing black pants with black boots. But no look is a Diane look without a pop of color from a necklace, so I layered these these gold necklaces with turquoise beads to lengthen my body even more and to add some fun colors.
