DIY Snowflake Votive

I enjoy giving homemade gifts to friends. For me it’s a way to show my friends that I care about them. There are times that I want to make a small gift for a friend, often as part a larger gift. A DIY Snowflake Votive is a gift that you can quickly make for your friends. The votives are fun because you can personalize them by choosing the color and scent of the candles and the color and design that you add to the votive.

I purchased a set of scented votive candles last year at the after Christmas sales, but you could find them at a discount store. Grab a Sharpie or paint pen.

Freehand your snowflake design on the votive holder. I practiced several snowflakes on paper before I started on the votive holder.

I can’t tell you how easy these votives were to decorate and I can’t draw. Really. So if I can do it, anyone can.

These cute little votive candles are even more charming in person.
