30 in 30 + July Giveaway
I know it's all the rage now to make a list of a certain amount of things you want to do in a certain amount of time, and I'm certainly not unique for doing it. However, I think it's a really fun way to set goals so I decided to make my own list! I picked today to share it with you all because today is the day my daughter turns 18 months old. My list will be 30 things that I want to do in 30 months, which means it will end exactly on her 4th birthday. Now, not all of these goals have to do with my daughter, but I thought it was as good a time as any to start! Some of them are not exactly fun things, but things that need to be done.
For My Daughter
-Take her to Six Flags
-Take her to the Georgia Aquarium
-Teach her to bake cookies
-Teach her to read
-Get her a pet of her choice (we think she's leaning towards a bird)
-Potty train her
For My Financial Stability
-Earn $100,000 in real estate
-Complete and begin sales of my blog planner
-Pay off all credit card debt
-Pay off car loans
-Purchase an investment property
-Sell my home for at least 25% more than we paid for it
For Myself
-Work out five times a week, every week
-Read 20 books
-Re-evaluate and expand my thesis
-Buy myself a Mac laptop
-Buy myself a good DSLR camera
-Write my will
For My Marriage
-Do a wine tasting
-Stay at a bed and breakfast
-Go on a cruise
-Make a five course meal (inspired by Bex)
-Hike up Stone Mountain together
-Take a class together (cooking, mixology, etc.)
For My Home
-Tile the basement
-Fix the electrical system
-Repair/replace rotten wood
-Paint exterior
-Hang new chandelier in foyer
-Build stone mailbox
This list seems much more daunting now that I've written it out, but I am confident I can accomplish all of these goals!
