Interest in Pinterest #1

First off, thank you for the warm greetings back into the blogging world - it's really humbling to know that people checked back and recognised me, even under the disguise of a new name.
I'm not sure why, but recently I've been using Pinterest more than ever. The concept never used to appeal to me, I didn't see the point in pinning thousands of recipes to a food board that I was probably never going to attempt. But, before getting back into blogging, I browsed Pinterest for some design and creative inspiration and I'd love to share what I found with you all.

I know it's not Tuesday, but I thought that this post on How to reduce your bounce rate was so helpful. My new blog doesn't have much in the way of data to analyse at the moment, but I always found the bounce rate on my older blog to be really high . The tips are definitely something I'm going to implement, especially when my blog's content and traffic starts to grow (hopefully!).
I also pinned an infographic on what to do when you're stuck for blog inspiration. I am almost always stuck for blog inspiration. I work and I'm often out and about seeing friends afterwards so I find myself strapped for time to take photos and plan for blog posts. I find it really demotivating to try and force a quick post for the sake of keeping a blog schedule too. However, when I'm next feeling uninspired I'll definitely re-acquaint myself with this, I just wish I had several pets I could blog about!
Lastly, I pinned another infographic detailing 10 font combinations. I never understood the importance of typeface in design until recently. I'm still pretty awful at deciding what goes together, but this has helped me to whittle down my choice of fonts to use on my blog from about ten to three.
