Stacking The Shelves #39: Landline & Masquerade

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted on Tynga’s Reviews. Basically you share what books you acquired that week whether it be physical or digital. Info here.

I feel like 2 books for 2 weeks is too good to be true. Unless I’m forgetting about something, this means that I can finally starting catching up on my TBR! Or well, I can TRY to catch up. Like I always say, a girl can dream. Massive thank you to Hachette for Landline by Rainbow Rowell and Penguin Teen for Masquerade by Kylie Fornasier.

I’ve heard so many amazing things about Landline! The fantasical realism concept, or whatever you’re meant to call it, sounds so intriguing. I’ve read Eleanor and Park and I loved it. Masquerade is a debut novel from Aussie author Kylie Fornasier. Penguin Teen Australia have really been hyping it up. It’s set in the 1750′s Venice and it’s been compared to modern works like Gossip Girl. I can’t express how excited I am to read both of these! Click on the covers to get to Goodreads for more information.

And can I just mention how absolutely gorgeous these covers are? This is the ANZ/UK cover of Landline and even though it’s similar, the colours are a lot brighter. And Masquerade is just perfect. Purple and white and black and perfectly classy.

But which one is prettier? And of course, let me know what books you got!
