on the cutting mat...
Happy Monday all.
Lately I've been a little lacking in the sewing department. My mum's been visiting, and it's been hard to get down to the basement to get any big projects done, but I've managed to plug away at some little things.

I have also started my next hexie project, with some late night stitching:
...and Project: Organize Crazy Sewing Space continues:
...I can't wait to finally be done with my sewing area and reveal :) It's been several weeks of short-bursts of decluttering and cleaning and sorting.
...and I thought I'd share the charity project we worked on at our last guild meeting for the
Chicago Modern Quilt Guild. We were making baby quilts for the
Lurie Children's Hospital NICU, and it was a lot of fun. We were all able to make several quilt tops at the March meeting (I thought I'd share a picture of one that my fellow Guilder
Crafty Turtle and I worked on at the meeting)
We all had a lot of fun creating the quilts for an awesome cause.
